Fly Fishing Instuctor Guide, Don Anderson

Don Anderson - Bio

I was born in Kerrville, Texas but raised on the family ranch near Medina, Texas. I hunted and fished the banks of the Medina River almost daily and developed a love of nature and the outdoors at an early age.

In my young teen years, the family moved back to Kerrville, where I fell in love with the Guadalupe River and its many miles of fishing opportunities even within the city limits.

My interest in fishing and fish conservation continued to grow, and before long, I found I had fished all over the state of Texas, along the Gulf Coast, the Rocky Mountains, and the great lakes. Not long after that, I added frequent Alaska, Mexico, and Canada fishing excursions.

By now, I had discovered the beautiful art of Fly Fishing and how it was a more personal form of fishing. It's one sport that has brought me closer to nature and understanding how conservation works. It’s a passion I want to share.

Let me show you my nature-filled "backyard" outdoors, Texas water, as we fish together.
